"How Dare that filthy mutt show his face around here", muttered Sir Kyrryn. Kyrryn stopped in his stride to the doorway and turned to Xanyin. "On second thought, “do pushups till your knuckles bleed, that will work much better". Turning back to the door Sebastian’s voice interrupted his progress. "I could have handled that dog with ease."
A look of concern crossed over Kyrryn’s face." I fear that he's not the same animal he used to be."
Sebastian Laughed at the thought pointing to the tail that he wore at his belt . "I've got his tail right here, the rest would come off just as easily."
“Sir.. Master I cou......” Before Xanyin could finish his word Kyrryn closed the gap between him and the squire, and smashed the young warrior across the face with the back side of his gauntlet. Once again Xanyin found himself skipping across the floor like a stone across water. Xanyin pulled himself to his knees thinking to himself, “this fame and fortune thing really hurts like hell to get to.” Settling himself in the pushup position, he began his master’s demands. Kyrryn looked at the child with malice. “In my day the punishment would have been far worse”, he thought to himself. As Kyrryn strolled back to the doorway he felt a tingle in the air that ran down his spine. The doors slammed shut with a resounding boom!
"Did you really think it would be that easy to get rid of me old man?" Doniban stepped out of the shadows grinning from ear to ear literally, rows of sharp teeth glinting in the light like a mouth full of small daggers. "It’s been a long time since we played and since I’m back in town and I figured I would have some fun. I’ve spent hundreds upon hundreds of years in hell perfecting myself. I am no longer flesh and bone like that of your likes, but made of the purest of metals. Every nerve, vein bone and muscles in my body replaced with mithril. Even the blood that once flowed through my veins has been replaced. In some ways I guess you could say I’m like you but… just better."
"Well its good to see that your cockiness hasn't changed any,” replied Kyrryn.
Sebastian chimed in." So dog it looks like we will get to finish this sooner then later.” Sebastian tapped the tail hanging from his belt.
"Ahh a nice little trinket from the past, nice I must admit but you see I replaced that one with a much nice one. Doniban turned to the side and a stream that looked like water pooled together and solidified into a large bushy tail. Doniban swished the tail back and forth across the ground tearing the wood floor to splinters behind him. "You see that nasty bit of flesh you have there is useless to me now but I'll let you have it as a souvenir." Sebastian laughed." Well it looks like I’m going to have to add a new tail to my little collection here."
