Soft footsteps can be heard from the upper floor as Vexx enters the Monk's tower. "Odd"....thinks the archer, "since when does the monk neglect his midday training?". As Vexx enters the upper chamber, the monk Xeris does not so much as even glance at the gnome, "Hello my friend, I will be leaving within the hour and I leave my tower in your hands while I am gone". "Leaving?..." the archer gnome asks, more out of reaction then real curiousity. The monk continues to pack a light satchel "Yes, I have something I must do". The archer rests on a wooden stool by the quil table, pondering the reality of this "sure he's a monk, but surely he cannot trust someone to watch over his possessions whom he has only known for a month." The monk notices the look upon the the archers face and smiles slightly "I hope to see my place again my friend, please try to keep most of it intact. Not long after the conversation, the archer watches the monk disappear over the horizen and takes a moment to realize he has the place to himself finally, "I finally get a reprieve from stict rules from that blasted monk". Not even five minutes later a knock comes from the tower's main door, it is a messanger from the city who has brought news "War sir", says the boy. "Why that lucky sonna of a monk!" the archer thinks as he glances back at the fading horizen in which the monk went.
